A very basic yet frustrating question that’s asked of me all the time is: With all of the scratching posts I buy for my cat, why do they still scratch my couch?!   2. I recently adopted two sister kittens from a litter. One of them is more dominant and athletic, whilst the other one has a quieter nature. The dominant one can climb or jump to the top of the scratching post, but the other one hasn’t caught up yet. Also, the dominant one uses the horizontal cardboard scratcher, whereas the quiet one scratches the carpet. I’ve been wondering if it’s a territorial thing and one hangs back because the other has already ‘claimed’ these items.

  3. Technology has changed and you can say, “NO!” When away from home. There are cameras that you can set zones (such as top of couch) and they will notify you when animal is in that zone and you can say , “NO!” Over the camera’s speaker.
